2. App Description

Meant offers three matching modes:

• Classic : Matches based on preferences (e.g., personality type, zodiac sign, love language, age range, etc.). The match is instantly revealed.
• Blind : Matches based on limited preferences (e.g., age range, city, gender). The match is revealed after 120 seconds.
• Alter Ego : Matches based on user-input interests. The match is hidden.

The App also provides chat functionality, user profiles, and other interactive features. Meant does not guarantee the accuracy, compatibility, or success of any match.

4. User Accounts

• Account Creation: To access certain features, including real-time matching, you may need to create an account by providing personal information (such as your name, age, gender, and other preferences).
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify Meant of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as needed to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

5. User Conduct and Content

Prohibited Conduct:

• Using the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against any other user on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other status.
• Posting or transmitting any content that is defamatory, invasive of privacy, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the App or interfering with the functioning of the App.

User Content:

• When you upload or post content (e.g., profile information, images, chat messages) on the App, you grant Meant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, and distribute such content in connection with the operation and provision of the App.
• You represent and warrant that all content you provide is accurate, lawful, and does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information. By using the App, you consent to all actions taken by us with respect to your information in compliance with the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

• Ownership: All content, features, and functionality on the App (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, icons, and images) are the exclusive property of Meant or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
• User License: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Meant grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.
• Trademarks: Meant, its logos, and any related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Meant or its affiliates. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of Meant.

8. Disclaimers

• No Guarantee of Matches: Meant does not guarantee that you will find a suitable match or that the App will meet your expectations. Matches are based on user-provided preferences and information, which can be incomplete or inaccurate.
• User Interactions: You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Meant does not conduct background checks on users and disclaims all liability for actions taken by users of the App. Use your best judgment and take appropriate safety precautions when interacting with others.
• App "As Is": Your use of the App is at your own risk. The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Meant disclaims all warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Accuracy of Content: Meant makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content provided through the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Meant or its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the App.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the App.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content.
• Any other matter related to the App.

If Meant is found liable for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the App, its aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of one hundred USD ($100) or the total amount paid by you (if any) for accessing the App during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Meant and its affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your breach of these Terms.
• Your use of or access to the App.
• Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
• Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

11. Termination

Meant may, at its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your account and/or access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any or no reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. You may also deactivate or delete your account at any time by following the instructions within the App.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may revise and update these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page, or by other means as required by law. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

13. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Meant regarding your use of the App, superseding any prior agreements.
• No Waiver: The failure of Meant to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights or obligations hereunder without our prior written consent.
